My name is Chuck Husk. Growing up in the Round Lake area over the past 55 years, I have seen and experienced a great deal of growth and progress to the Round Lake Beach
Community. Your current mayor and Board of Trustees have been a group of visionaries that have continued to improve our community to the benefit of the people of Round Lake Beach. I see myself as one, willing to work toward continuing progress, growth and improvement in our community.
I have spent a number of my years in Round Lake Beach doing my best to give back tour community. Volunteering as a Webelos Scout Leader for five years, with the fourth and fifth of these years also serving as Webelos District Commissioner. My wife Carol and I became foster parents for three young children under the age of three, eventually adopting two of these children who are now in college and doing well. For seven years, I have also volunteered as a football coach, within the Spartan football program working with a number of young men and boys to teach them the value of teamwork and cooperation. Also for the past two and one half years, I have served on the Planning and Zoning Commission of Round Lake Beach, to work with fellow Commissioners dealing with incoming changes in our community.
Over the past thirty years, my wife Carol and I have raised our seven children, putting all of them through our Round Lake school system, and sending successful, responsible people into the world.
I have been a Supervisor at Weber Stephen Products for the past eighteen years, and have worked in a management roll for over thirty years with integrity and professionalism, dealing with scheduling, quality and employee performance.
My goal is to bring my experience and integrity to our Board of Trustees to work with a great group of people to our continuing improvements.
