The ground-breaking ceremony for the
new village hall is just one more step in
the village overall plan for a regional
community center that will serve the
residents of Round Lake Beach. When
completed the town center, which already
is home to the new post-office, police
station, Metra station, a recreational lake
and 36-acre park, will include a
community recreation center, non
motorized boat launch, fishing pier, the new
village hall, and a new school.
